Garland Symphony Orchestra to Feature Award-Winning Pianist

The Garland Symphony Orchestra will feature pianist Alex McDonald during its Concert VII at 8 p.m. May 9 at the Granville Arts Center Brownlee Auditorium, 200 N. Fifth St.

McDonald has soloed with the Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de Mexico , the Louisiana Philharmonic, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and the Utah Symphony Orchestra. He teaches piano at Texas Woman’s University.
