An all new Coldplay concert will be shown on Sky Arts 1 this month, marking the release of the band’s latest CD “Ghost Stories.”
“Coldplay: Ghost Stories” will be shown at 9:30pm on May 19, the very same day the band publish their 6th studio album. The concert was videoed in front of an 800 strong audience and captures the band perform all nine tracks on the new album plus fan favourites including “Clocks,” “Viva La Vida” and “Paradise.” This will be the first opportunity for UK fans to see the new album tracks performed live.
Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion will also be giving in an exclusive interview programme, “Coldplay: Making Ghost Stories.” The 30 minute show will air directly before Coldplay: Ghost Stories and forms part of a night of programming on Sky Arts dedicated to the band. The night will also include “Coldplay: Live 2012” from the Mylo Xyloto Tour, “How We Saw the World Pt. 1” filmed in Toronto during 2006 and “Coldplay Live 2003 in Sydney,” from the band’s 2003 year-long world tour.
