Meet Keyboard Players Marshall Jefferson, Adamski and Luke Soloman

SSR has a long history with many Keyboard and Synth artists who have influenced electronic music. Acid House musicians ‘808 State’ formed while studying music at SSR in the 1980’s, and numbers from artists such as ‘Two for Joy’, ‘Awesome Three’ and ‘Together’ were recorded in SSR’s studios. Continuing this legacy, SSR are to present a World exclusive event from their London campus.

During the evening David Alhund, known for his world-wide performances in duo V-Topia, German group NUDE, as well as his movie soundtracks and productions under the pseudonym Tweeky, will be demonstrating the new SH101 PLUG-OUT software synthesizer, giving attendees an exclusive first look at this new Roland hardware.  As a programmer of preset sounds and music for a large number of Roland products for over a decade, David will also be delivering his signature performance with the Aira TR8, TB3 and VT3. The evening is set to be not only a nostalgic journey into the classic sounds that shaped countless classics but a venture into the future through the eye of Roland’s Aira range of instruments.

Later in the evening, Bullet Dodge’s Gareth Whitehead and Mike Greig from SSR London will be hosting an audience with Marshall Jefferson, Adamski, Luke Solomon and guests; discussing how Roland legacy equipment has helped shape the sound of electronic music. They will be looking at how their unique sound influenced many producers and classic records. Marshall, Adamski & Luke will be voicing their opinions on the new equipment and how they see this might influence the new generation of producers.

Throughout the session they will also be looking at Music Production education and how it can help today’s producers get a head start. The event provides an exclusive opportunity to meet and question special guests, key figures from Roland and SSR tutors, and provide a great opportunity to network with key music industry figures.
