Pianist Scott Cossu to Play Benefit Concert

Internationally acclaimed pianist Scott Cossu is set to play a benefit concert today.

Cossu, one of the first “New Age” artists with the Windham Hill record label, will present the benefit concert, with John Croarkin on flute and other wind instruments, for the Lummi Island Heritage Trust at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at Lummi Island Congregational Church, 3913 Legoe Bay Road.

Cossu’s most recent CD, “Tides Between Us,” is dedicated to the Puget Sound area.
