London station amazed by 8 year old piano player.

See the video of young pianist Jay Lewington playing Chopin. He says, ‘Sometimes I brag to my friends about the time I scooped Grade One piano in year six. I’ve not achieved much since then, but can still play a slammin’ rendition of ‘Jelly On A Plate’. This little guy’s just blown me out of the water though.  A YouTube video is doing the rounds showing eight-year-old Jay Lewington bashing out Frédéric Chopin’s ‘Fantaisie Impromptu’ at St Pancras station with all the class of a concert pianist.

Best thing is, Jay’s mum Camille says he’s completely self taught. He learned how to play by watching loads of online how-to guides. She wrote underneath the clip: ‘Hi, Jay’s mum here. Just wanted to say thank you from Jay for some of the lovely comments he has had – I’ve just read some of them out to him and his face lit up.’
