Piano Teacher Required For School Job In London.
My Piano Lessons are helping to recruit music teachers for complex needs schools and currently have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Music Teacher who works well with children, enjoys teaching learners with additional needs and is interested in creating innovative and diverse opportunities for young people. This is a short term full time position with a view of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
The school is located in NW London and caters for children with multiple learning difficulties and autism. The class sizes are very small and with a dedicated team of staff, each teacher is joined by experienced teaching assistants/learning support mentors who ensure all learners are participating in their education. The school are very proud of their learners’ achievements and host engaging and interactive learning activities with each day being different and above all, very rewarding!
The welcoming Principal and their senior leadership team are looking for a qualified Music Teacher, primary or secondary trained to teach up KS2. They expect someone with a real passion for teaching music and are open to new ideas from lively and enthusiastic people. To qualify for this post you will need to have the following skills/experience:
QTS or overseas equivalent
Knowledge of current educational trends, curriculum developments and educational initiatives
Inspire, challenge and motivate others
Demonstrable evidence of raising the standards of learning and teaching
Can work well within a team
An understanding of education within SEN settings (desirable)
