We looked at the new BLUE-II Rob Papen software yesterday but we have just found our there is already an upgrade for the keyboard and synth product. Updating your BLUE-II is simple. log in to www.robpapen.com and visit ‘My products’. Open the download page below your BLUE-II registration, download the installer and run it on your system. Next time you boot up BLUE-II, the new presets will appear.
The new banks are:
– The Raven’s by Stawczyk
This bank is inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s poem and holds 29 FX presets, 21 textures/cluster presets, 38 sequence presets and 40 synth presets.
– Rauschwerk Signature BLUE-II Soundbank

Important note for PC users:
The PC installer now installs BLUE-II banks, presets etc in a user selected folder (defaulting to documentsrob papen). If you have any 3rd part or user created banks, presets etc you should move them into this new folder, otherwise they won’t show up in the plugin.
The older location, for instance, could have been SteinbergVSTPluginsRob PapenBLUE2.

NOTE: BLUE-II should be compatible with Windows XP. However, BLUE-II does use quite a bit of memory so we recommend that you have as much memory on your machine as possible, and it’s best if you use the 64 bit version.
