Rob Papens Blade software gets some great new features.

In the latest version of Blade, we have added some cool new presets and we have them for our piano and keyboard lesson teachers here. The new features can be found in these banks: 01 Synth 02 | 03 JoMal 01 | 03 JoMal 02. Updating your Blade is simple. log in to www.robpapen.com and visit ‘My products’. Open the download page below your Blade registration, download the installer and run it on your system. Next time you boot up Blade, the new presets will appear.

Also, in case you missed the last update. Blade also has a spectral display (button next to FX) and you can set the GUI size of Blade to 150% in case you use big screen displays in your studio. And, it is also wise to check the tutorials about Blade if you haven’t already. They explain using the spectral display, how the harmolator works and so on. Watch them here

Important note for PC users:
The PC installer now installs Blade banks, presets etc in a user selected folder (defaulting to DocumentsRob Papen). If you have any 3rd party or user created banks, presets etc you should move them into this new folder, otherwise they won’t show up in the plugin. The older location, for instance, could have been:
SteinbergVSTPluginsRob PapenBlade.
