JOB – Piano Teacher Required In Guildford

The Centre For Young Musicians (a division of the Guildhall School and DfE Centre of Advanced Training) has a vacancy for a piano tutor from September 2015. They will be required to teach first and second study piano students between the ages of  7-19, from elementary to post diploma level. Applicants must hold a music degree, diploma or equivalent. They should demonstrate a professional level as a performer as well as having significant experience of teaching, ideally within a specialist musical institution.

The role may additionally include teaching a piano based chamber ensemble so experience of coaching chamber music is desirable.  We expect to be able to offer a minimum of 5 hours teaching per week for 30 weeks of the year following the school terms.
