Cameo’s 3 instruments each provide a unique synthesis approach, delivering a wealth of sounds ranging from exquisitely sampled patches from vintage synthesizers including the Casio CZ1, CZ101, CZ1000, CZ2300S, CZ3000 and CZ5000 to modern phase distortion synthesis using the advanced oscillators and DSP algorithms from UVI Falcon. Cameo CZ provides a huge library of custom patches designed on vintage hardware for the authentic ‘80s phase distortion experience. Cameo CX delivers a dual-layer raw waveform engine for hybrid crossover sounds. Cameo CM offers new flavors of PD, utilizing a pure synthesis approach utilizing Falcon’s wavetable oscillator and advanced DSP engine.
Each instrument provides a generous selection of high-quality and immediately usable patches. All sounds can be easily edited to taste, layered, or completely reprogrammed through vintage inspired user interfaces for near endless variation. In addition, a full ensemble of built-in effects, including Sparkverb, are available to further sculpt and refine sounds.
Cameo offers native 64-bit standalone operation and is fully compatible with both UVI Workstation and Falcon instruments, providing comprehensive DAW support and simultaneous authorization on up to 3 computers or iLok keys.
