Create Your Perfect Roland Piano With The Piano Designer app

Connect supported roland digital pianos to the free piano designer app and you can control all of the characteristics to personalise your sound.  Roland digital pianos include a wide range of piano sounds, keeping you interested and making practice more varied and enjoyable. But what about once you’ve tried the preset models? With most digital pianos, you’re stuck with the ‘factory’ sounds, and have little or no scope to change them. Choose certain Roland pianos though, and the preset piano sounds are just the beginning.

Create a ‘one of a kind’ piano sound
Using the Piano Designer app for iOS and Android, you can quickly build your perfect piano sound. This easy-to-use app showcases the versatility of Roland’s SuperNATURAL Piano modelling engine by providing complete control over the fine details of the piano tone, right down to each of the 88 individual notes. You can even save different setups and use the app to change the piano’s voicing instantly – all via the touchscreen on your phone or tablet.

Perform with settings from the world’s finest piano technicians
If you don’t fancy fine tuning the piano tone yourself, the Piano Designer app also comes with a variety of presets that have been created by some of the world’s finest piano technicians. To play jazz repertoire, for example, you could select a 440Hz American piano or for classical, a 443Hz Viennese piano is perfect. These and many more settings are available instantly, and expand enormously the potential of your piano.
