He began playing piano age 12 in his home town of Portsmouth. Recognised by a local teacher he quickly worked his way though the ABRSM grade system. After six years of winning local competitions and ABRSM grades in piano, violin and organ. He secured a place on the classical piano course at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of music and dance in Greenwich, London. As well as studying under renowned Italian concert pianist and educator Sergio De Simone, He began working as a musician in London. He has given countless concerts as a soloist and part of ensembles, held the position of organist at many churches and played keyboard in countless rock, pop and jazz bands. He also particularly enjoys playing background jazz and easy listening piano and plays for private parties and events all over London and the Home Counties. In addition he is a keen educator, he studied piano pedagogy under Penelope Roskell at Trinity Laban and regularly takes on piano and keyboard students of all ages.
