Lesson Information:

• FIRST LESSON IS FREE
• Teaching grades 1-4 + Beginners
• Lessons last an hour
• Lessons will take place in students residence
• I teach both Children and Adults
• I don’t teach residences in the north of Edinburgh as its too far away
• I am a approved teacher with ‘My Piano Lessons‘
• I have certificates in both grade 5 and grade 5 theory
• I teach all styles eg: (Jazz, Swing, rock, classical, blues etc)

-Bio:
Hi, I am a student at Heriot Watt University currently in my third year. I have been playing piano since I was 7 and have attained grade 5 practice and grade 5 theory though that was 8 years ago and I play to a diploma standard now as well as preform in bars and restaurants. Prior to this I have been working bar and waiting jobs however before then I worked as a drama teacher for around 2 years teaching ages 4 to 16 grades 1 through 5. These would usually be large groups of about 16 pupils that I would conduct with friend who was the same age. After teaching drama I taught piano to 5 students as well as both my brothers on a weekly basis for 6 months however I had to end the lessons due to leaving home to go to university. I’d like to think I am a very sociable and responsible person as I’ve always got on with my previous students no matter their age or background. Piano is a great passion of mine which I hope to share with as many people as I can.
